Zach is an American who came to live in Japan with his uncle while his parents are going through a nasty divorce. His uncle happens to be the Executive VP of Sports Shack Corp., and was instructed to oversee the new Japanese branch. Sports Shack is a worldwide sporting goods store. Zach has lived in Colorado all of his life, and has never been outside of America. He is a junior, and is starting his first year at Unmei. Zach can already speak Japanese, but isn't fluent. He loves baseball, and fanatically follows his home team of the Colorado Rockies. He hasn't exactly picked up on the Japanese culture yet, and always has his iPod blasting American bands like: Rise Against, Disturbed, Flobots, etc. He states he "cant stand that Japanese crap." He likes to write, listen to music, hang out with friends, whittle with his buck knife he carries around everywhere, and play baseball.
