Here at Unmei, we use an eight period schedule. Students are given the ability to decide their own class schedule, provided they fill five of the eight class slots with a short homeroom at the beginning of every day.

The class options, as well as its instructor, and other staff are as follow:

Math classes: Mr. Mikawa- A superstitious, skinny, balding man with glasses, eccentrically collects lucky cat figurines. Walks with a limp.

Science classes: Ms. Iori- Middle-aged woman with short black hair. Is very relaxed with students and their work.

History classes: Mr. Ivanov- Extremely tall exchange teacher from Russia. Occasionally speaks in Japanese while writing notes on the board in Russian.

Music/Art classes: Mr. Itagaki- A man in his early twenties, has short, usually spiked, brown hair. Is very talented in the arts, being the instructor of all the school's art and music classes, as well as the drama instructor. Very encouraging.

Computer classes: Mrs. Mikawa- Larger woman with graying black hair. Strict with her students. Extremely good with all computer related concepts. Easily frustrated with her husband's obsession with good luck cats.

Gym classes: Mr. Takami- A somewhat fat middle-aged man. Hard on the male students to excel. A bit of a pervert when it comes to female students... Can usually be found yelling into his in blowhorn.
---------and Ms. Tsunade- A fairly attractive woman in her early twenties. Very encouraging and overly enthusiastic. Doesn't seem interested in men...

Grammar/writing classes: Mr. Chou- Very straight laced, uptight older man. Demands respect from all his students.

Foreign Language (English) class: Mr. Anthony- Blond American male in his late twenties. Speaks in broken Japanese, but is very encouraging.

Librarian (study hall): Ms. Akiko- Very flamboyant woman in her early twenties. Obsessed with the latest trends and texting on her cell phone. Never not seen in bright colors.

Principle: Mr. Hideyoshi- Strict yet kind principle of Unmei. Average built man in his forties. Has a passion for anime and manga.

Guidance Counselor: Ms. Atsuko- Kind and reassuring twenty-three year old woman. Always willing to help out students in trouble. Has trouble with relationships.
